Registration Cancellation Policy:
Registration payments are 100% refundable up to 2 weeks prior to class date. Any cancellation less than 2 weeks are 50% refundable.
By attending this course, the Site Safety & Health Office (SSHO) will meet the additional required certification as stated in the NAVFAC UFGS 1.6.1.1.1. The SSHO must obtain the course certification within sixty (60) calendar days from award. Covers EM-385-1-1
Pre-Requisites:
1. 5 years of construction industry safety experience, OR
2. 3 years if attendee holds a Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, OR
3. A Safety & Health degree
Course Completion:
Attendees must attend all classes. Upon completion of the course and passing the test with 80% or better, the 40-Hour Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training for Contractors certificate will be issued. Certificates expire 3 years from date of issue.

Terri Watkins holds a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Development from the University of Southern California. He serves as the Occupational Safety and Health Division Head for Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
Rob McCarthy
Robert McCarthy holds a Master of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Health who serves as the Director of Occupational Safety and Health for Marine Corp Base Hawai'i.
