Representing a broad cross-section of Hawaiʻi’s building industry, these dedicated professionals volunteer their time, expertise, and resources to strengthen the construction community and advance efforts that improve the quality of life across the state.

Kamuela Potter

We are pleased to welcome back Kamuela Potter, Owner of Inspired Closets Hawaii, as she continues her service on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors as President. For more than 20 years, Kamuela and her husband, Brent, have grown Inspired Closets Hawaii from a family startup into Oʻahu’s longest-running custom closet and home organization company. Their work has helped thousands of local families maximize small spaces and create homes that support everyday island living. Beyond her business success, Kamuela is deeply committed to community impact and philanthropy. As a proud Kamehameha Schools alumna and Native Hawaiian business owner, she actively supports the next generation through the Pauahi Foundation, contributing to scholarships that uplift ʻŌiwi learners. She regularly engages in community initiatives that help families thrive and uses her platform to encourage giving, mentorship, and opportunities for Hawaiʻi’s youth. Her leadership reflects her core values: responsibility, generosity, and a strong belief in bettering the community through both service and example. We are grateful for her continued leadership on the Board and look forward to the direction she will guide BIA Hawaii in 2026.

We are pleased to welcome back Lili Shintani, Community Relations professional at Alan Shintani, LLC, as she returns to serve as the 2026 BIA Hawaiʻi President-Elect. In her role at Alan Shintani, Inc., Lili oversees payroll, community relations, and marketing and advertising, bringing a well-rounded operational and communications perspective to the organization. Within BIA Hawaiʻi, she serves as Chair of the Education Committee and is deeply committed to strengthening Hawaiʻi’s workforce through training, education, and professional development initiatives. Lili’s passion for service extends well beyond the industry. She is an active volunteer with the Moanalua Lion’s Club and Sleep in Heavenly Peace, an organization dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps on the floor by building and delivering beds for families in need. Her dedication to giving back reflects a strong belief in community responsibility and collective impact. As President-Elect, Lili will continue to play a key leadership role in advancing BIA Hawaiʻi’s mission to support education, workforce development, and community engagement across the construction industry. His leadership and vision are helping reshape the future of Hawai‘i’s construction industry. Known for raising standards, uniting teams, and bringing clarity to chaos, Lukas is the leader people turn to when the stakes are high... and somehow he makes it all look effortless. Within the Building Industry Association of Hawai‘i, he plays a pivotal role across multiple committees, driving initiatives rooted in excellence, transparency, and true collaboration. Lukas is a unifier... someone who listens, builds consensus, and elevates everyone around him. Wherever he serves, momentum follows. Beyond BIA, Lukas is a leading force within the independent ʻOhana Leadership Council. An island-wide network of parents devoted to strengthening families and uplifting Hawai‘i’s communities. His belief is simple: when families stand strong, communities flourish. Through mentorship, outreach, and heart-forward leadership, he helps create that foundation with intention and purpose. He also champions inclusion through his support of Special Olympics Hawai‘i, using his platform to inspire courage, service, and purpose-driven leadership across the trades. Rooted in his Latvian heritage and grounded by his devotion to his two incredible kids, Lukas leads with integrity, resilience, and a philosophy shaped by gratitude, humility, and stewardship. He carries a deep respect for Hawai‘i—its culture, its people, and its ʻāina—and approaches every project with the understanding that building here is a privilege, not a right. He is a builder of homes, yes… But also of people, relationships, and trust. And the kind of presence that stays with you long after he’s walked away. We are grateful for his continued leadership on the Board and look forward to all they will bring to BIA Hawaii in 2026.

Kevin Murray

We are pleased to welcome back Kevin Murray, President at PHAD Home Appliance, as he continues to serve on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors as Secretary. Kevin Murray’s career in the kitchen appliance world began early, spending summers in the warehouse of his family’s California business. Before joining the family ranks, Kevin sought outside experience, graduating from the University of San Diego and working in the fast-paced environment of Silicon Valley. He returned to the family business in 2001. Over a 25-year tenure, he helped grow the company into a market leader with over $250 million in annual sales, distributing brands such as Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau, and La Cornue. In 2024, Kevin moved to Oahu with his wife, Talitha, and daughter, Taegan, to take the helm at PHAD Home Appliance a business the family acquired from Servco in 2020. Kevin is passionate about giving back to the community. Building on his past work with The Guardsmen in San Francisco, he launched PHAD’s Kōkua Program to support vital non-profits including Special Olympics Hawaii, Hoʻola Nā Pua, Destination Hope, and many others. We are thankful for his ongoing service and look forward to his contributions in 2026.

Paul Silen

We are pleased to welcome back Paul Silen, Sr. Vice President of the Commercial Division at Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc., as he continues his service on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors as Treasurer. With a 40+-year career in Hawaiʻi’s construction industry, Mr. Silen brings extensive leadership across residential, healthcare, education and commercial projects. He oversees a team of thirty-two professionals and guides the Commercial Division in delivering renovation, restoration, remediation and new construction work statewide. His approach emphasizes clear communication, quality craftsmanship and a strong commitment to safety. Hawaiian Dredging has helped shape Hawaiʻi’s built environment for more than 120 years century, contributing to landmark projects such as Ala Moana Center, Halekulani Hotel, John A. Burns School of Medicine, Honolulu Harbor, Reef Runway, Ala Wai Canal, H3 Tunnels, Ford Island Bridge and more recently Aulani Hotel . In a 2024 interview, Mr. Silen reflected on the company’s legacy, the importance of maintaining critical infrastructure and the challenges posed by Hawaiʻi’s changing climate. We are grateful for his continued leadership and look forward to his insights and contributions in 2026.

Rinker, Vice President of Customer Services at Gentry Homes, as he continues to serve on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors, as Immediate Past President, following his term as 2025 President of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii. With more than 21 years at Gentry Homes, Marc has built his career in customer service leadership, guiding homeowners through the building process while upholding high standards of quality, accountability, and long-term value. He brings deep institutional knowledge of the residential construction industry and a strong commitment to improving the homeowner experience. Marc’s leadership with BIA Hawaii has centered on education, workforce development, and member engagement. During his term, BIA Hawaii expanded hands-on workforce initiatives, including the first Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT) program held in Downtown Honolulu, and supported student mentorship efforts such as the Kalaheo High School construction project, which connected students with industry professionals for real-world learning and career exposure. As a past BIA Hawaii President and former NAHB state delegate, Marc has also represented the association at the national level, advocating for responsible building practices that balance safety, sustainability, and housing affordability. A U.S. military veteran who served during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, Marc brings a strong sense of service and leadership to all that he does. We are grateful for his continued involvement and dedication to supporting skilled professionals and building Hawai‘i’s future.

Peter Eldridge

We are pleased to welcome back Peter Eldridge from Raynor Hawaii Overhead Doors, as he continues his service on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors as Special Appointee Associate. Peter was part of the construction industry almost from birth. He grew up helping his dad and uncle build several homes. He was a founding partner with Raynor Pacific Overhead Doors on Oahu in 1990. Since then Peter has gone on to help with garage doors for thousands of homes on Oahu. Peter started serving on the BIA Board in the early 2000’s. In his spare time he loves seeing sunsets at the beach with his wife of 45 years, serving on the board of Aloha Nani church in Kapolei and visiting his 6 children and 21 grandchildren on the mainland. His favorite thing about Hawaii is the lasting relationships he has formed over the past 35 years. When you meet Peter be thinking what you are grateful for. His signature greeting is “Hello – What are you thankful for today?” We are grateful for his continued leadership on the Board and look forward to the expertise and insight he will bring to BIA Hawaii in 2026.

Marc is Vice President at Armstrong Builders, where he oversees complex residential and commercial projects and supports the company’s long-standing reputation as a leader in Hawaiʻi’s building industry. With more than fifteen years of experience in construction, Marc has held key roles at both Armstrong Builders and Kiewit and is known for his strong leadership and commitment to quality. Before entering the construction field, Marc spent six years in leadership roles with the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties. His early experience in youth development and community service continues to shape his people-first approach to mentorship, teamwork, and industry leadership. Marc serves on the BIA Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and is looking forward to revamping the Build a Hawaiian Home program in 2026 as Committee Chair. Sarah Love is a Partner at Lung Rose Voss Wagnild, where she focuses on construction, real estate, and complex commercial litigation. Her practice includes counseling and representing developers, contractors, design professionals, and property owners in matters involving construction defects, procurement disputes, insurance coverage, and employment-related issues. Sarah has been deeply involved with BIA Hawaii for many years and previously served as President during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing steady leadership through a period of unprecedented disruption for the association and the building industry. As the NAHB Representative, she helps ensure Hawaiʻi’s housing priorities, regulatory environment, and industry perspectives are effectively represented at the national level. In recognition of her professional and community leadership, Sarah was named one of Pacific Business News’ 40 Under 40 in 2016 and Honolulu Magazine’s 20 for the Next 20 in 2024. She is also active in industry education, and frequently speaks at professional seminars for construction professionals.

He is a licensed general contractor in both Quebec and Hawai‘i and brings deep expertise as a journeyman carpenter, heavy equipment operator, and steel worker. His background in historical renovation and rehabilitation is especially unique in Hawai‘i. Sylvio’s longstanding commitment to community service includes managing Homeworks Construction’s contributions to Honolulu Habitat for Humanity in 2009, where he personally helped build two homes and coordinated additional supply and labor donations. A licensed general contractor in the State of Hawaiʻi for more than 35 years, he has led O’Donnell Construction as a family-run business since 1990, earning a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and trusted client relationships. Tommy remains deeply engaged in advancing the building industry through education, innovation, and leadership. He is an active member of the National Association of Home Builders and has been a BIA Hawaiʻi member for more than 20 years. In addition to serving on the BIA Hawaiʻi Board of Directors, he also contributes as a BIA educator, helping support workforce development and industry best practices. As a NAHB Certified Green Builder and NAHB Certified Graduate Remodeler, Tommy is committed to responsible building and sustainability. His leadership extends beyond construction through long-standing community involvement, including more than 40 years of service with his Windward Oʻahu church and board service with Hawaiʻi Bible Fellowships. In her role at First Hawaiian Bank, Robyn supports branch property projects across the state, bringing a strong understanding of facilities management, project coordination, and operational planning within Hawaiʻi’s built environment. Her work reflects a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to stewarding spaces that serve both employees and the broader community. Robyn is deeply committed to community service and cultural preservation. She has served on the Board of Governors for the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaiʻi and has long supported the Pauahi Foundation and Kamehameha Schools in advancing the vision and legacy of Ke Ali'i Bernice Pauahi Pākī Bishop, founder of Kamehameha Schools. Through donor engagement and philanthropic support, these efforts have helped provide hundreds of scholarship awards and establish new endowment funds that expand educational opportunities for Native Hawaiian students. As a continuing BIA Hawaii Board Member and current co-chair of the BIA Hawaii Golf Tournament Committee, Robyn plays an active role in supporting the association’s programs, fundraising efforts, and community outreach. Geena Thielen

We are pleased to welcome back Geena Thielen, Owner and President of Complete Construction Services, Corp., as she continues her service on the 2026 BIA Hawaii Board of Directors. Geena is a longtime builder, developer, and community advocate whose work has strengthened housing access across Hawaii. She serves on the Honolulu Building Board of Appeals and the Hawaii Habitat for Humanity State Association Board, contributing her expertise to support safe, equitable housing for local families. She also volunteers in youth sports, small business advocacy, and community programs that assist Hawaii’s houseless population. Within BIA Hawaii, Geena has been a committed leader for many years, serving as BIA Hawaii President (2013), NAHB National Area Chair, and Chair of both the Government Relations and Codes Committees. Her guidance continues to shape the policies that influence contractors, homeowners, and the broader industry. She also develops affordable housing through the City’s Bill 7 program and has already completed two multi-unit projects with a third nearing completion, helping expand attainable housing options for the community. We are grateful for Geena’s continued leadership and look forward to the insight she will bring to BIA Hawaii in 2026.

Christian is a dedicated community builder whose passion for service, leadership and innovation shows up in everything she does.
