Evan Fujimoto | Graham Builders
Our Story: Evan K. Fujimoto – Graham Builders
At BIA Hawaii, we proudly highlight leaders who blend technical excellence with heart, purpose, and community service. Evan K. Fujimoto, President of Graham Builders, is a shining example of that balance. With over 35 years of experience in construction and more than three decades at Graham Builders, Evan has built more than homes—he has built trust, legacy, and a stronger industry.
Building the Future: Mentorship & Community Impact
Evan’s journey began in 1993 as a project manager at Graham Builders. With a passion for design and a drive to grow, he took on roles in estimating, project management, and architectural/kitchen & bath design, eventually rising to the position of President on January 1, 2010. Since then, he has overseen the design and construction of hundreds of homes, including major renovations, new builds, and custom kitchens and baths.
Under Evan’s leadership, Graham Builders has become a local leader in design+build, known for specializing in multigenerational, extended-family, aging-in-place, and single-family residences. The firm is a proud recipient of Hawaii Home + Remodeling Magazine’s 2018 People’s Choice Award for Multigenerational Home Builder, and continues to emphasize collaboration, craftsmanship, and client success as the foundation of every project.
Evan is also the owner of Cabinet Connection, a kitchen and bath cabinetry supplier he founded in 1992, bringing his knowledge full circle from design to final finish.
Beyond the office and jobsite, Evan is a committed community servant. He volunteers at New Hope Hawaii Kai, supports medical missions in Nepal, and works with at-risk youth in an orphanage in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. These experiences have shaped his leadership style: empathetic, mission-driven, and grounded in service.
Why We Support BIA-Hawaii
A longtime supporter and past President of BIA Hawaii (2017), Evan continues to serve on BIA’s Education and Membership Committees, where he lends his decades of insight to advance the organization’s goals. His involvement with NAHB as a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and Certified Green Builder reinforces his dedication to sustainable and future-ready housing solutions.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and a general contractor license (BC-29086), Evan blends technical expertise with people-first leadership—a combination that has earned him the respect of peers and clients alike.
Born and raised on Oʻahu, with two years spent in Guam, Evan is a family man at heart. He and his wife are the proud parents of five children, and he enjoys music, reading, and surfing in his downtime—always finding inspiration both in and out of the water.
We are proud to recognize and thank Evan K. Fujimoto for his lifetime of contributions to Hawaii’s homebuilding industry, his mentorship, and his deep-rooted commitment to both people and place.
