Project Statement

This luxury remodel transformed a classic, mid-century home into an updated, modern space perfect for entertaining and showcasing the owners’ collection of local art, as well as for casual everyday living. Originally designed by renowned Hawai`i architect Vladimir Ossipoff in 1952, the home featured low sloping roofs, clerestory windows, deep overhangs and natural materials. The renovation objectives were to embrace the original Ossipoff design while contemporizing the interior spaces, enhancing the attached guest cottage, and further invigorating the indoor-outdoor living areas with the addition of a pool and spa, as well as an expanded covered lanai and outdoor kitchen.
