DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Tracy Lawson - (Lawson & Associates)\n\n\n\nThe Disaster Response and Preparedness Training Program focuses on helping first responders\, employers\, employees\, workers\, contractors and volunteers who may have limited safety training and/or experience to identify\, evaluate and control the health and safety hazards that may be present during rescue and remediation phases during disaster recovery.\n\n\n\nThis program is designed to increase and improve knowledge\, skills and access to valuable resources and establish planning processes to help prevent injury and illness during disaster recovery operations.\n\n\n\nTOPICS:\n\n\n\nThe program addresses the multitude of safety and health concerns that may be present in the unstable environment of recovery work sites. During the Disaster Response and Preparedness Training Program\, participants will gain the knowledge and basic skills to:\n\n\n\n1. Disaster Preparation & Work Planning\n\n2. Understand the incident Response process\n\n3.
