    Event Description:
    Customers today are both demanding and selective and, thanks to technology, they are very well educated. How do you stand out from the crowd and make your brand relevant? This course gives you an overview of the many types of marketing and sales tools to help you build your unique brand and a positive reputation so you can engage and motivate potential customers, clients and referral partners to choose your product or remodeling services. This course includes exclusive resources for learning more about the sales and marketing techniques described.

    As a graduate of this course, participants will be able to:
    • Identify social media and emerging technology to enhance marketing.
    • Describe time-tested and cutting edge tactics to increase the effectiveness of advertising, promotions and public relations.
    • Identify a variety of methods to generate and qualify sales leads.
    • Describe positive strategies to gain the agreement and close the sale.
    • Describe follow through techniques that lead to great referrals.
    Who Should Take the Course?
    This course is designed for custom, small-volume and midsize builders; small volume to midsize remodelers, trade partners, and sales and marketing professionals.

    This course provides six hours of continuing education credits for these NAHB designations: CAPS, GCA, CGB, CGP, CGR, CSP, GMB, GMR, Master CGP, Master CSP.
    6 AIBD CE. All in person and online education provided by NAHB is approved by the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) for continuing education units. Members of the institute seeking credit must self-report by submitting a form http://www.aibdmember.org/ceform.pdf

    Tag Gilkeson currently owns a Design/Build firm called Tag & Associates, LLC where he works with homeowners, remodelers, and builders drawing full construction plans in 3D. With the industry growing toward new technology, Virtual Reality was a very easy add on to services to offer to the more distinguished clientele. What VR has done is begun to eliminate the need for field changes and allows for a design that everyone is happy with but has also maintained budget constraints and maximized livability.

    Tag is a Certified NAHB instructor with (11) designations recognized by the NAHB. These include Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Graduate Master Builder (GMB), Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Certified Green Professional (CGP), Master Certified Green Professional (MCGP), Certified Graduate Associate (CGA), Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP), Master Certified New Home Sales Professional (MCSP), Certified New Home Marketing Professional (CMP), Master in Residential Marketing (MIRM), Green Sales Professional (GSP)
