By attending this course, the Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) will meet the additional required certification as stated in the NAVFAC UFGS 1.6.1.1.1. The SSHO must obtain the course certification within sixty (60) calendar days from award. Covers EM-385
Pre-Requisites: 5 years of construction industry safety experience, OR
- 3 years if attendee holds a Certified Safety Professional designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, OR
- A Safety & Health degree
Course Completion:
Attendees must attend all classes. Upon completion of the course and passing the test with 80% or better, the 40-Hour Construction Safety Hazard Awareness Training for Contractors certificate will be issued. Certificates expire 3 years from date of issue.
