Bonding Education Program

Presented by: U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization

Program Objectives:

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) Bonding Education Program (BEP) is a partnership with the Surety and Fidelity Association of America to help small businesses become bond ready. The goals of the BEP are to educate small business contractors about industry challenges and to assist participants in their efforts to obtain surety bonds, or increase their bonding capacity. The program offers unique workshops that apply to companies seeking transportation-related contracts, though any small business seeking public works projects will find it valuable as well. Participants will interact with service providers and bond producers and will learn how to conduct business with local, state and federal transportation agencies.

Registration:

Space is limited and all applicants may not be accepted into the program. A completed application form (see attached documents) is required for participation. NO COST TO ATTEND!
